About

Ethel Henry graduated from Camosun College Dental Hygiene program in June 1994.

Through the first years as a Registered Dental Hygienist Ethel provided temporary hygiene services around Victoria, BC. This provided some excellent hands on education working with all kinds of practices. She moved back to Campbell River in 1996 and started temping there. Ethel found work with one dentist for five years then moved on to traveling to remote reserves with contracts to promote oral health through Inter Tribal Health and Kwagiutl District Council Health.

Ethel has had the privilege of taking many different courses which include Evolutionary Dental Hygiene, Laser therapy and many webinars, whole day lectures, study club and conferences.

Ethel has worked clinically for 27 years and with public health for 7 years so she has a great knowledge of oral health prevention at all levels.
